Seamless Blog Migration

We move your entire blog – posts, pages, media, categories, and SEO data – to a new platform without losing a single ranking.

Migrating a blog is one of the riskiest things you can do for your online presence. A botched migration can destroy years of SEO work overnight. We make sure that does not happen.

Our migration team has moved hundreds of blogs across platforms – from WordPress to WordPress, from Blogger to WordPress, from Squarespace to static sites, and everything in between. We know where things go wrong, and we have battle-tested processes to prevent it. Every migration starts with a comprehensive audit of your existing site: content inventory, URL mapping, redirect planning, and SEO baseline measurement. We then execute the migration in a staging environment, verify everything, and only go live when you are satisfied with the result. Post-migration, we monitor your site for 30 days to catch any issues – broken redirects, missing images, indexing problems, or traffic anomalies. Our goal is not just to move your content; it is to move your entire online presence without losing momentum.

Frequently asked questions about migration

What does a migration cost?

We charge by the hour. Costs depend on the scope — number of posts, content complexity, and source platform. After an initial consultation, we give you a realistic estimate.

How long does a migration take?

For 100–300 posts, expect 2–3 weeks from initial consultation to go-live. Larger projects take proportionally longer — we define the exact timeline in the migration plan.

Will I lose my Google rankings?

Not with a clean execution. We set up 301 redirects for every URL, transfer all SEO metadata, and monitor indexing for 30 days after go-live. The goal is a seamless transfer with zero ranking loss.

Can I keep publishing during the migration?

Yes. The migration runs in a separate staging environment. You continue working on your existing site as normal. Any new posts published during the migration are added before go-live.

Example recipe migration

Recipe migration requires a fundamentally different approach than standard blog migration. Each recipe contains structured data fields – ingredients with quantities and units, step-by-step instructions, prep and cook times, servings, nutritional information, and Schema.org Recipe markup – that must be mapped precisely to the new platform. We have built custom migration scripts specifically for recipe content. Our tools understand the data models of popular recipe plugins like WP Recipe Maker, Tasty Recipes, and Recipe Card Blocks, and can map between them accurately. We also handle the migration of recipe-specific media like process photos and plated shots. After migration, every recipe is verified for correct Schema.org output, ensuring your rich snippets continue to appear in Google search results.
